Within a two minute period I got two phone calls and a text saying that President Gordon B. Hinckley died. Crazy, it seemed like he was going to go on forever. I have to admit that though I'm totally going to miss him, I'm actually really stoked for him cause he's with his luvie again.
THANK YOU

two bad brothers
I was stoked when both these fellows moved in, both of whom inspire me:
This is Griffin, son of Tris, brother of mother Becky. We share grandparents and several aunts and uncles for some reason. As a native of Valencia, CA he's level-headed and great at creating complete and utter jollification. He has the benevolent Cannon disposition I see in our grandpa. Look for his handsome face at the BYU–Salt Lake building.
This is Koos, good as gold. He loves chilling with my Lawrence poster and spitting out hip hop tunes. Read about him here. Koos is bona fide REAL.

I guess I never got around to my best of 2007 post.
Here it goes—in 2007:
I liked this movie.
I liked living with (in alphabetical order) Carter, Dane, Sam, and the others.
I didn't like it too much when they and others moved away.
I liked learning about typography.
I liked playing soccer and watching RSL.
I liked looking at this bloggins.
I sometimes liked learning about myself.
I liked being with family and listening to my Dad talk about anything, especially Kanye (Conway) West.
I liked my D&C class lectures.
I liked being with friends.
I didn't like having mysterious knee injuries and tearing ligaments in my ankles.
I liked reading during the summer, especially about Holden Caulfied.
I liked getting in contact with influential and long lost mission companions/families via the internet.
There were probably some other memorable stuff that happened, only I'm too lazy to think of it right now.

Two Thousand Ate
Wow it's crazy how time flies. Another year, another dollar earned, another opportunity to resolve. Every year I have the same two resolutions: (1) To be more spiritual and (2) to date more. I think I consistently choose these goals because they're so enticingly vague. I never have anyway of really determining whether or not I've accomplished them.
I hope that 2008 will be a year that I'll listen to Paul Simon more. I really hope that 2008 will be good for Real Salt Lake. We better win.
I'm really into this song
The Blow - Parentheses (Rory Phillips remix)
